To guide and soothe women of color in abusive relationships or situations. Overcoming one's trauma is a challenging task and sometimes listening to those who have been through a similar ordeal can make one feel like they’re not alone and that they too can get past these terrible injustices.

Even after overcoming our trauma, we still need time to learn and allow ourselves to grow. It all comes in steps, but it’s important we don;t miss any. Especially, when it comes to tending to our wounds.

As humans growing is a natural cycle of the body and basic mental but as women it’s important that we not only grow externally, but internally. We have to learn how to make our souls shine brighter than the sun, but stronger than iron. We cannot grow if we don’t acknowledge our situation or heal from it.

Strength is a key component in a womens life and lifestyle. We have to brace ourselves for the hardships and injustices in the world. When coming out of an abusive situation it may be hard to find your strength, despite overcoming the trauma and healed from it indefinitely. But it’s important gain it back, even if it’s little by little. All that matters is taking that step forward.

You’ve come so far! The process of overcoming and dealing with one’s trauma is hard. But what’s even more challenging is learning how to love one’s self again and finding happiness in one’s own solitude. Doing this is a tedious process, it takes time. But in the end it’s worth it.

Living through trauma is hard, even after one’s moved passed it and healed as much as possible. Going back to a life without your abuser can be hard and for a brief moment nonfunctional. But everything finds its way back into the light. Just like a current finds its flow.
