Sehej Singh is of Punjabi Sikh descent, a culture that has taught her the importance of advocacy and taking initiative. She is a team lead for her school's Social Equity Coalition, organizing projects that drive equality and social change in a school setting. Sehej is also on School Site Council, representing over 2000 student voices to her District Board. Her background and experiences have sparked her passion for equity and advocacy, specifically women's issues, which she hopes to tackle through WAIA. In her free time, Sehej loves to read poetry and make DIY jewelry.
